The term “We-Plan” refers to the CUSTOMIZED holiday planning services offered by where We Plan your entire holiday for you.

1.  Our Rates
    • As with any SERVICE provider, a service fee is applicable when “We Plan” your holiday for you, but take note: Having good industry relationships, our suppliers (e.g. guesthouses) are subsidizing MOST of your service fee.  As a result, it may happen that in some cases you pay us no service fee…
    • If you Do Not proceed in doing your holiday planning through LifeChanging Holidays’ “WE-Plan” Services (after we’ve quote you on one or a couple of holiday options), you will be invoiced an Administration Fee of R450 per person (± $ 60; ± £ 30; € 40 per person). This is to cover a small portion of the time spend on research, telephone calls, planning & negotiations with individual suppliers. We realise for some this might be offensive, but please keep in mind that an average of 15 hours is spend on planning 1 customized itinerary.  If you DO proceed with your booking through LifeChanging Holidays, ONLY the Service fee apply and not the Admin fee.
    • If this is not for you, we encourage you to make use of our “SELF-Plan” Hand-Picked Holiday Services instead. We do not charge a booking fee for this service…
2.  Making a Booking
    • A booking is only confirmed & secured upon receipt of proof of payment of the FULL/ TOTAL AMOUNT of your invoice.
    • No bookings (at itinerary service providers, e.g. accommodation) will be made & confirmed until Proof of Payment has been received by fax or email.
    • An exception of 2 instalments will only be considered if your date of departure is 3 (or more) months in advance.
    • Travel Insurance is the responsibility of each individual client of This is of utmost importance when it comes to cancelling your holiday on short notice. recommends 2 suppliers. For more info, click here.

3.  Cancellation Policy
    • When you have NOT accepted your quote (after a number of quotes with change requests has been given to you) and no invoice has been issued: R450 per person Administration Fee – as per point 1
    • When you have confirmed and accepted your quote and have received an invoice, but cancellation is before payment of invoice and this happen more than 31 days prior to departure: The full commission amount (service charged) that we would have earned – 20%
    • Cancellation after payment has been received & more than 31 days prior to departure:  LifeChanging Holidays’ full service charge/ commission on the booking  +  10% of Suppliers’ Invoices
    • 15 To 30 Days Prior To Departure:  LifeChanging Holidays’ full service charge/ commission on the booking  +  75% of Suppliers ‘ Invoices
    • Less Than 14 Days Prior To Departure: No refund (Make sure you have the sufficient Travel Insurance)
    • Non-Arrivals: No refund (Make sure you have the sufficient Travel Insurance)
    • Cancellation DURING your holiday: No refund
    • If you have accepted a quote which indicates a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, this overrides all other terms & conditions (relating to cancellation fees) and holds true for your specific booking which you have accepted. In case of a cancellation, you will not be refunded as individual suppliers have already been paid to secure your (e.g) seat, bed, room, etc.
    • Cancellation of booking should ALWAYS be in writing and is only accepted upon written acknowledgement of the cancellation.



The term “Self-Plan” refers to you planning your own holiday, making use of’s hand-picked (referral) Third-Party Suppliers. Suppliers refer to the term “SERVICES”, meaning: accommodation, activity bookings, airport transfers, adventure travel, car rental, cruise bookings, excess luggage, flights, guided holidays, inspirational online shopping, phone – sim – 3G & gps rental,  travel insurance, visa, honeymoon gift registry, motorhomes, packaged holidays and such other services as may be referred to herein.

4. Online Travel Agency and Third Parties
    • There are links on this website which allows a user to visit the sites of third parties (Services). This is also referred to by some as Affiliate Suppliers. Neither these sites nor the companies to whom they belong to are controlled by (the online travel agency) and makes no representations and gives no warranties concerning the information, service & product-/s provided or made available on such sites. You are deemed to indemnify against any claims for loss or damage arising from your use of or of information gained from or from accessing any such linked sites.
    • In many instances when you are purchasing a Service on our site,, is acting as a disclosed intermediary agent for third party suppliers, such mentioned with the term ‘Services’. The transaction for the Service is between you and the third party supplier, and will usually involve your being required to accept additional terms and conditions governing the transaction with the relevant third party supplier. YOU SHOULD READ ANY SUCH THIRD PARTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE COMPLETING YOUR PURCHASE. When deals with you as an agent, has no contractual liability for the Services, which you have purchased.
    • All quotations or estimates provided by or bookings made with and/or all Services rendered are subject to the Standard Terms and Conditions of any Third Party Service Provider.
    • Third Party Service Providers may be acquitted from responsibility in that they act as agent themselves or have contracted out of liability, as may the ultimate principals such as hotels, car hire, etcetera, and it is therefore recommended that appropriate insurance be taken out for all travellers.
    •; its directors and employees does not accept liability for any actions, errors or omissions of the Third Party Service Providers and/or their agents, which may be prejudicial to you or result in loss in any way or form whatsoever, including injury, illness, harm, trauma, death and/or loss of or damage to your belongings whatsoever and you indemnify the; it’s directors and employees accordingly. The conditions of the Third Party Service Providers shall constitute the sole contract and transaction between the Third Party Service Providers and you and any right of recourse you may have, will be solely against the Third Party Service Providers.
    • With regards to Third party service providers default/ involuntary schedule changes:, it’s directors and employees takes no responsibility in the event of an airline or any other third party’s default, cessation of service on a ticketed route or schedule change. Travel insurance that covers this default is highly recommended.

5. Liability
    • Neither’s directors and it’s employees or any holding, parent, subsidiary, affiliated or associated company or representative shall be liable for any injury, illness, harm, trauma, death and/or loss of or damage to your belongings whatsoever howsoever caused and you indemnify’s directors and it’s employees accordingly.’s directors and its employees shall furthermore not be liable for any indirect and/or consequential loss or damages whatsoever even though this may be as a result of negligence on the part of a employee(s).

6. Insurance – Travel and Medical
    • Assistance to obtain travel insurance in terms of Section 22 of the Tourism Act, 1993, is available on request. It shall not be obligatory upon’s directors and its employees to effect insurance for you except upon detailed instructions given in writing by you.; its directors and employees shall not be obliged to obtain separate cover for any risks so excluded.
    •; its directors and employees will not be responsible if you fail to take adequate insurance cover. Queries must be addressed directly to the principal insurer of choice.
    •; its directors and employees strongly recommend that travel insurance be purchased for the duration of your journey.; its directors and employees urges you to take out additional insurance cover over and above the phase one insurance offered free as standard for international travel by the various credit card companies. Please check with your respective credit card company directly to obtain specific details of the complimentary cover.

7. Malaria and Other Diseases
    • Certain parts covered by your itinerary may be areas where there is a high-risk of malaria and other general and/or tropical diseases.; it’s directors and employees strongly recommend that the necessary precautions be taken in this regard and recommend that you check with your medical practitioner before departure or a medical practitioner well versed in tropical diseases immediately upon your arrival in Africa or any other tropical or sub-tropical destination. If you have not done so prior to departure, it is imperative you do so upon your return.
8. Privacy Policy, Security & Cookies

    • You supply us your information by completing our Online Fill-in Forms and/or by sending us an e-mail.

This information may include things such as age, dietary requirements, your preferred language of communication, country of residence, accommodation preferences, special needs, mobile contact number, etc.
    • Credit Card & Payment Security on our ‘We-Plan’ Section:  (a) When we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information such as financial information, we redirect visitors to a secure server; (b) uses the services of in this regard; (c) Strict security measures taken by Payfast can be viewed by clicking here; (d) At no time are your credit card number and/or details available to us, unless you supply it volunteeringly to us in writing; (e) Our Third Party Suppliers and Services (in our Self-Plan Section) use their own secure online payment facilities. It is your responsibility to investigate their online payment system if this concerns you.
